GPMC now offers you the convenient option of lodging your Medicare claim electronically after you have seen the doctor.

If you pay for your consultation in full, you can choose to have your Medicare benefit paid directly into your nominated bank or credit union account by electronic funds transfer. If you choose not to provide your bank details, you will receive a cheque in the mail.

What you need to do:

1. Bring your medicare card with you as your medicare number will be
    used to lodge the claim.

2. Bring your bank account details - 
               BSB number (6 digit bank state branch)   and
               Bank / Credit Union Account Number.

3. You will need to complete the Medicare Bank Details Form. Alternatively you 
    can complete the form - click here , forward to medicare Australia or bring
    with you to the practice.
